The following outlines the list of proposed facilities for the Eleusis Project: Media center: recording studio, record label, Internet and multimedia offices. Spiritual Education Center and Mystery School: An educational facility which will provide an opportunity for young people and adults to gain a deeper understanding of traditional spiritual values and practices. Spiritual leaders from the world's wisdom traditions will be invited for peace conferences and workshops. Arts center: residents studios, print shop, woodshop, weaving center, foundry, gallery and store. Dance dome:
Climate-controlled, with surround sound and planetarium-style screens for video projections.
Amphitheater: for plays, concerts, circuses,
conferences. Healing
center: Yoga, bodywork, reiki, herbology, aruvedic
medicine, and diet therapy. Permaculture
Garden: Powered by solar, hydroelectric, and other
alternative clean energy sources. Will include rare and
medicinal plants. Temple of
Eleusis: a temple for initiation ceremonies and other
rituals. Archetypal symbols from the ancient Eleusinian
Mysteries will be incorporated into the design and the
decoration. Art and Music
Fairgrounds: An opportunity for hand-crafting artists,
musicians and performers to gather and present their talents
to the public in a beautiful natural setting reminiscent of
the Oregon Country Fair. Community
Campground: A beautiful place for like-minded
folk to gather and live on a temporary basis to enjoy the
facilities of the Eleusis Project.
